The process rocket bezahl.de was developed with leading automotive retail groups to raise the internal payment processes in car dealerships to a new, innovative standard. The entire payment process was examined critically, from making the claim to allocating and booking the payment, and a tailor-made solution was developed. The Cologne fintech startup offers a modern end-to-end infrastructure and is the preferred payment management platform of leading players in the automotive trade.



Product innovation smartkasse: The clever solution in service

Especially in lockdown times, more and more industries are relying on digital payment processes in order to be able to offer customers cashless payment processing. After a successful launch in the automotive trade, bezahl.de expands its range and enables a new way of payment in the service business. Some of the leading Mercedes-Benz representatives, including Nord-Ostsee Automobile GmbH & Co. KG and Hirschvogel GmbH & Co. KG, have already invested in the product innovation (smartkasse). Thanks to this, workshop invoices - in addition to payment by smartphone - can now also be paid contactless and cashless at self-service checkouts. The customer has a wide range of payment methods available, including with the physical EC card, which means that even less online-savvy customers can pay completely independently. Subsequently, bezahl.de ensures a clean flow of data into the existing cash register and accounting systems, regardless of the selected payment method. The result is shorter waiting times and a faster pick-up process for the customer, as well as significantly simplified back-office processes for the retail partners. Thanks to the modern and slim design, the smartkasse also blends in well with the ambience of any car dealership.

makes sense for the 102 car dealership groups. Therefore, bezahl.de was selected as a strong cooperation partner for payment management. This partnership has now been expanded in a targeted manner so that the members of the association can also benefit from the advantages of fully digital payment management in the service area.


Several retail groups have already introduced the payment.de smartkasse. With great success: customers and employees appreciate the new and innovative process.
